Removing the "Next Blog" Element in Blogger

To remove the risky “Next Blog” feature at the top navigation bar . . . Just head to your template tab within the blog settings, go to the edit html view and add this code after any other chunk of code ending with the } symbol — paste this code in just below.

#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
visibility: hidden;
display: none;
}

  1. Dear Tim,
    I learned about this useful tip when I listened to the webinar hosted by EdTech where you were the featured presenter.
    I had a bit of difficulty at first because I hadn't scrolled down far enough into the .html on the template page to find the "#somethingtag", but I looked at your screenshot again and figured it out. I edited both of my blogs to reflect the changes.
    I would love it if you'd take a look at my attempts to create a blog which is a running account of my experiments in using new technologies.

    Thanks again for the terrific overview of new tools to increase student engagement in learning. I am hoping to find the time to check some of them out that I hadn't heard of before such as nicenet.org
    Sincerely,
    C Stanley
